Because the 3D is a pyramid, when viewed head on facing the point, they are not as bright as the 4D. 4D is great for angled trails. Use both 3D and 4D as a "System" to mark trails.

Brilliant Green at Night

The green 4D trail markers respond great to flashlight or headlamp stimulus at night. Very good product.
